How to End The Massage
My students keep asking me, “How do I end the massage politely?”
Listen, I get it.
Our clients are in a deep state of relaxation and they are likely knocked out on the table and it is time to wake them up.
We don’t want to disturb them, but we also don’t want them to stay there because we have other clients arriving within 30 minutes.
I have a simple formula that I use after every massage.
So what do we say?!
The easiest way to do this is…
Lightly touch your client’s shoulder and say,
“Take your time getting dressed and I’ll meet you outside the door.”
BOOM!
Nice, kind, and polite!
You are free to use this.
How about when I am in class?
Now when in the classroom with my students, it’s a little different.
I tell my students…
“Take your time, but hurry up!”
In fact, I do the same thing to my little brother [insert laughter here].
I wouldn’t encourage you to do this to your clients. Ever!
I just have to give my students a little bit of a hard time… my little brother as well.
You get the point!
I hope this helps!
Very respectfully,
